안녕하세요. 저는 SASER 학교 아디프입니다.

사실 저는 작년에 저의 학교 형들이 말하기 대회를 할

때 응원하러 왔었습니다. 그때 저는 한국어를 잘 하지 못해도 많은 사람들 앞에서 한국어를 말할 수
있다는 것이 참 부러웠고 돌아가는 차에서 내년을 기대하며 연습해 보았습니다. “안녕하세요. 저는
아디프입니다” 제가 할 수 있는 문장은 이것이 전부였지만 말하기 대회를 나갈 수 있다는 꿈을
꾸었는데 이렇게 여러분 앞에 말할 수 있어서 너무 영광입니다.

Hello. I am Adif from SASER. Actually, I came to cheer on my older brothers at my school last year when
they had a speech contest. At that time, I was very envious of being able to speak Korean in front of
many people even though I was not good at Korean, and I practiced in the car looking forward to next
year. "hello. I am Adif” This was all I could say, but I dreamed of entering a speech contest and I am so
honored to be able to speak in front of you like this.

오늘 저는 여러분께 저의 한류에 대하여 말씀드리고 싶습니다. 많은 나라와 사람들은 한류에

영향을 받았습니다. 사람들은 한국의 K-Drama, K-Pop 그리고 음식을 좋아합니다. 그러나 저는
드라마나 K-POP 보다 한국어를 더 좋아합니다. 저는 엄마가 한국드라마 Kingdom 을 같이 보자고
해서 한국문화에 대한 관심을 갖게 되었습니다. Kingdom 을 보면서 한국의 드라마를 좋아하게
되었지만 사실 그것보다 한국어에 대한 관심이 더 많이 생겼습니다. 드라마를 보면서 저도
한국어를 잘 했으면 좋겠다는 마음이 들었습니다.

Today I want to tell you about my Korean Wave. Many countries and people have been influenced by
the Korean Wave. People love Korean K-Drama, K-Pop and food. But I like Korean more than dramas or
K-POP. I became interested in Korean culture because my mother asked me to watch the Korean drama
Kingdom together. I came to like Korean dramas while watching Kingdom, but in fact, I became more
interested in Korean than that. While watching the drama, I felt that it would be nice if I could speak
Korean well.

한국어를 혼자 배우는 것은 쉽지 않았지만 저는 SASER 학교에 입학해서 박선생님과 Fauzia

선생님과 함께 공부할 수 있었습니다. 선생님들과 함께 공부하면서 더욱 쉽고 재미있게 한국어를
배울 수 있었고 모르는 것이 있으면 찾아가서 배울 수 있었습니다. 한번은 한국어 수업 시간에
떢볶이를 만들어 먹었습니다. 떡볶이를 만들면서 너무 재밌있고 맛있어서 제가 한국어를 더
열심히 해야겠다는 동기를 주었습니다. 여러분 떡볶이 좋아하시나요? 어떤 한국 음식을
좋아하시나요? 한국 음식을 맛보면 더 그 매력에 빠져들게 됩니다.

It was not easy to learn Korean on my own, but I was able to enter SASER School and study with Mr.
Park and Ms. Fauzia. I was able to learn Korean more easily and fun while studying with the teachers,
and I was able to visit and learn something I didn't know. Once, during Korean class, I made and ate
Tteopbokki. While making tteokbokki, it was so fun and delicious that it motivated me to work harder in
Korean. Do you like tteokbokki? What Korean food do you like? The more you taste Korean food, the
more you fall in love with it.
여러분, 저는 여자친구가 있습니다. 질투 나시나요? 제 여자친구는 저만큼 한국을 좋아합니다.
특히 K-drama 를 좋아합니다. 그래서 제 여자 친구는 제가 한국어를 배우기 시작했다는 소식을
들었을 때, 배우 기뻐했습니다. 왜냐하면 제 여자친구는 항상 한국말을 잘하는 남자친구가
있었으면 좋겠다 생각했기 때문입니다. 그래서 저는 한국말을 잘하는 남자친구가 되기 위하여
정말 열심히 한국어를 공부하고 있습니다.

Guys, I have a girlfriend. Are you jealous? My girlfriend loves Korea as much as I do. I especially like K-
drama. So when my girlfriend heard that I had started learning Korean, she was overjoyed. Because my
girlfriend always wished she had a boyfriend who could speak Korean well. So I am studying Korean very
hard to become a boyfriend who can speak Korean well.
