II. CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 11:00 a.m. by Ma’am Elnora Salas, Head Teacher I of SLNHS.

III. AGENDA

 International Day of Mathematics

Theme: “Mathematics for Everyone “
all activities ate classroom-based
Date: March 14, 2023
can be conducted during Math class or after class hours ( no class disruption)
Classroom-Based Activities

 *MATCHCOM CONTEST (Math Quiz Bee)

Time allotment: 1 hr
-5-10 students per grade level shall take the witten test for secondary
Questions: Easy (10), Average (5), difficult (5)

 *MATH TRAIL
JHS-team composed of one participant per grade level
SHS-team composed of two participants per grade level
Time allotment: 1 1/2 hrs

 *SUDOKU
3 rounds

 The meeting started at exactly 11:00 with an opening prayer led by Ma’am Mylene S. Reyes.
 To check the attendance of the math teachers, Ma’am Elsa Siaron initiated the roll call for teachers.
 Welcome remarks were delivered by the head teacher Ma’am Elnora Salas, followed by the discussion
of the agenda of the meeting.
 Ma’am Kaycee Candelaria discussed the mechanics of the International Day of Mathematics and the
activities to prepare. And it is agreed that classroom-based activities are to be prepared by math
teachers which will be conducted on March 14, 2023 (can be conducted during Math class or after
class hours).
 Committees were assigned for the conduct of the contests, and they are as follows:
o MATCHCOM CONTEST (Math Quiz Bee)
 Ma’am Richel Duay, Ma’am Ana Marie Gonzales and Ma’am Gemdie A. Estacio
