Project Summary

Implementing a digital menu and point-of-sale (POS) system that will be guest-facing by
integrating tablet system located at each table to offer guests a seamless ordering experience
—and at the same time provide the restaurant with a more effective ticketing system.

Scope and Exclusion


In-Scope:
● Launch a pilot rollout of tabletop menu tablets at two of our restaurant locations,
Sauce & Spoon North and Sauce & Spoon Downtownmenu item add-on feature and
the coupons

Out-of-Scope:
● Change the policy
● Improve the satisfaction of the kitchen staff.
● Implementation in dining sections
● Hire more staff for the kitchen

Benefits & Costs

Benefits:
● Bar-focused rollout is less risky. Also, we’ve observed that diners in sections with tablets
really do tend to order more, and it might make sense to let the kitchen scale up their
operations more gradually to meet the increased demand.
