PROCEEDINGS:
* The meeting started at exactly 8:30 AM.
* Mr. Gerardo T. Ariate started with an opening prayer before the meeting proper.
* Brigada Pabasa
- The Brigada Pagbasa (BP) as a form of Brigada Eskwela is an after-school
reading program in response to Hamon: Bawat Bata Bumabasa or DepEd 3B Initiative
issued under DM 173, s. 2019. All BE implementers are encouraged to conduct this
partnership initiative for reading which serves as a platform to synergize education-
related endeavors that immediately addresses literacy and numeracy learning gaps. This
reading advocacy serves as an avenue for all stakeholders to contribute possible
solutions to improve the country’s education system, especially in equipping the learners
with 21st century skills. With the successful nationwide implementation last school year,
the Brigada Pagbasa shall continue with an aim to engage more education partners and
experts to intensify this after-school reading program.

- The Brigada Pagbasa program aims to equip the parents with

knowledge and skills in teaching their children who have difficulty in
reading or writing.
- Gelda Garcia (Elem Reading Coordinator) – announced that there will be
Pabasa Volunteers to be the partners of the school in implementing DepEd 3B initiative.
They scouted college graduates from Agsam as Brigada Pabasa Volunteers.
- Since the number of volunteers are few, still we are scouting for more
volunteers. Their effectivity as Pabasa Volunteers started on August 2022.
- Jennifer Francis (Sec. Reading Coordinator) presented one of the proposed
projects of the school which is the Project REACH (Read and Comprehend at Home)
* Gulayan sa Paaralan
- Rosalina Miranda ,Elem GPP Coordinator encourages those grade levels and
sections to have their garden as soon as possible because there will be a monitoring on
the last week of September or last week of October.
- Ailyn Orillaneda, Sec GPP Coordinator announced that almost 80% on the
secondary department have already their garden.
* Echo Solid Waste Manegment

- Victoria Antoque, Solid Waste Management Coordinator, presented plans,
activities and set schedule for a General Tagbo. Prior to Tagbo, awareness to
stakeholders were being discussed as to solid waste segregation and its importance
particularly on health issues. Part of the awareness is the encouragement on the proper
waste segregation.
* School Feeding Program

- Rosalina Miranda, SBFP Coordinator announced that there were 90+
beneficiaries from Kindergarten (all Kinder Pupils) and selected Grade 1 to Grade 6
depending on the BMI result.
* Update for Alumni

- Joseph Brian Alipao, Alumni Vice President presented the following projects and
activities of the alumni.
a. WOW AIS – donated by SB Mabel Bais
b. construction of WOW AIS – donated by Alumni and from Alumni Fund
c. Disco during Anti-Desperas- proceeds were given to construct the Flagpole.
d. Faucet Repair - all faucets were fixed, fund from Alumni
e. Yearly awarding of medals tor Grade 12 as Loyalty Award - from Alumni fund.
* School Uniform
- Alipao announced that though there is a new Memorandum coming from higher
offices that school uniform is not mandatory, still, the school encourages all the learners

to wear a school uniform.

- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – school uniform
- Wednesday – Wash Day
* Update for PTA Projects/4Ps

- Rufina Arpilleda, Faculty President announced that the proceeds during the
Graduation Ball amounting to P12,500 was already given for the construction of the 4 to
5 span fence of the school.
- Arpilleda also suggested that Po Ano will be revived but with no amount, just a
heartily-given amount for the progress of the school.
- Majority of the PTA members agreed to just have Por Ano amounting to P100.
- 4Ps – Arpilleda reminded and encourages the 4Ps members to let their children
be at school without absent.
* Principal’s Report
- Enrolment – the current enrolment is 655 and the previous enrolment was 659.
1% decrease of enrolment due to the opening of MELST.
- MOOE – Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses
- 3rd quarter – July to September
- Elem – 76,658
- JHS – 41,100
- SHS – 91,830
- mandatory expenses, travels, supplies
- School Projects Implemented
- TY Odette – selected schools were given assistance, AIS was one, given
P20,000 financial assistance that will be used to repair the 2 communal CRs.
- Fencing – MOOE repair of fence in front/pathway entrance
- LGU Fund worth P30,000 – not yet released, still waiting for the program of work
to be submitted.
- Covid Materials Procurement worth more than P50,000 to be given by the
Division.
* School Activities Updates
