Throughout these courses, I was exposed to many
facets of Spanish culture. Including, but not limited
to, information on Spanish cuisine, dance, art,
history, etc. As well as a Spanish television series
which allowed for a complete immersion into the
Spanish language. I now have a better understanding
of how to effectively relate to, and communicate
with, people in the Spanish community.

meticulous analysis of the numerical information
provided, and a precise interpretation of the given
information to generate the final product. My final

primary and secondary sources, including my undergraduate degree. Many of my written

significance of an issue or an event. management courses, required me to procure
information from a multitude of sources. I had to
analyze, evaluate, and organize the information in a
way that was conducive to the topic of the
assignment. For example, in my management
courses, I frequently had to determine if it was more
effective and efficient to use primary data
(interviews, for example) or secondary sources
(documentaries, for example) to bolster my
argument. This is frequently demonstrated in HR-
related tasks.

was to collect information on Starbucks’ DEI efforts
and present a logical argument as to why our services
(a DEI training company) should be implemented
within the company. During my internship, I had to
collect quantitative and qualitative data on my clients
and then, use this information to create a holistic
financial plan with sound financial recommendations
pertinent to their current situation and future goals.

and worldviews. at Seton Hill, we were required to examine various
viewpoints and beliefs. We had to evaluate and
interpret these value systems and then respond in a
discussion format with our interpretation. This
cultivated a respectful environment in which we
could communicate our beliefs and opinions while
maintaining an appreciation for those opinions that
differed from our own.
