I. Preliminaries:

The SLAC commenced at 2:30 PM with a prayer by Mrs. Mae Anunciado followed by the
singing of Pambansang awit thru an AVP.

II. LAC Proper:

A. Cluster Head’s Time:


The Samal National High School Cluster 3 head, Mrs. May N. Padillo, acknowledged the
attendance of the teachers present in the meeting. She stressed the importance of teaching strategies
in the teaching-learning process. As the Cluster head, she urged the teachers to use the teaching
strategies for delivering the lesson.

B. Presentation of Agenda:
The following agenda was presented by Mrs. May N. Padillo in the body:

1. Agenda No. 1 – Orientation:


Mrs. May N. Padillo, as the Speaker/ Facilitator was given the task of orienting teachers
on the seminar. She made mentioned the importance of using a range of teaching strategies that
enhance learner achievement in literacy and numeracy in the teaching-learning process,
especially in this new normal.

2. Agenda No. 2 – The Seminar:


Mrs. May Padillo started the seminar on the use of a range of teaching strategies that
enhance learner achievement in literacy and numeracy. The teachers were attentive and eager
to review the things and were refreshed on the teaching strategies that were familiar to them.
It was discussed by Mrs. Padillo in the session, using a range of teaching strategies is
indeed essential for catering to diverse learning styles and ensuring optimal understanding. It
included the presentation of a few teaching strategies that they think can enhance learner
achievement in different areas or subjects: Differentiated instruction, active learning, use of
technology, collaborative learning, and many more. The teachers realized the effectiveness of
these strategies can vary based on the specific needs of the students and the learning
environment. A skilled teacher will often combine several strategies to create a well-rounded and
engaging learning experience that enhances student achievement in literacy and numeracy.
Through the session, the teachers were able to make their lesson exemplars well in preparation
for the teaching-learning process, class observation, or clinical supervision.

3. Agenda No. 3 – Demonstration Teaching:


Teachers were able to present their Lesson Exemplar and the teaching-learning process.

III. Adjournment of Session:

Since there were no more matters to be taken up, the LAC was adjourned at 4:35 o’clock in the
afternoon through the motion of Mrs. Ruby Rosa Rafisura and duly seconded by Mr. Prince Rhino Morga.

Teachers' orientation to the seminar was the responsibility of Mrs. May N. Padillo, the LAC
Leader. She discussed the value of planned, managed and implemented developmentally
sequenced teaching and learning processes to meet curriculum requirements and varied teaching
contexts for the teaching-learning process.

2. Agenda No. 2 – The Seminar:


The success in planning, managing, and implementing developmentally sequenced teaching
and learning processes indicates a well-prepared and effective teaching approach was discussed
during the session. By aligning with curriculum requirements and adapting to varied teaching
contexts, teachers can create an engaging and meaningful learning experience for their students.
We found out that by acknowledging the challenges and proactively finding solutions, teachers
can enhance their ability to effectively plan, manage, and implement developmentally sequenced
teaching and learning processes that cater to diverse learners and teaching contexts.

Teachers' orientation to the seminar was the responsibility of Mrs. May N. Padillo, the LAC
Leader. She discussed the value of selected, developed, organized and used appropriate
teaching and learning resources, including ICT, to address learning goals for the teaching-learning
process.

2. Agenda No. 2 – The Seminar:


During the session it was emphasize that incorporating appropriate teaching and learning
resources, including ICT, can significantly enhance the learning experience for students and
contribute to achieving the learning goals of the session. The teachers were able to realize that
their success in effectively selecting, developing, and organizing these resources reflects their
dedication to providing a comprehensive and engaging learning environment.

There were problems/ challenges that the teachers foresee while using appropriate
teaching and learning resources, including information and communication technology (ICT) like
technical issues. The problem might be internet connectivity problems, or malfunctioning
equipment that can disrupt the smooth integration of ICT resources. But there is a possible
solution: Always have a backup plan in case of technical difficulties. Test the technology
beforehand, and have offline alternatives ready. Inform students of potential issues and how to
troubleshoot minor problems.
