Objectives  Students will practice the skill of borrowing and regrouping when subtracting mixed numbers,
especially when the fraction in the minuend is smaller than the fraction in the subtrahend.
 Students will learn the procedure for subtracting mixed numbers with different denominators.
They will understand the need for finding a common denominator before subtraction.
