Objektif Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to ask at least 5 questions to find out the correct
answer.
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen to questions and answers from
others to guess at least once.
Aktiviti Pre-lesson: Pupils are reintroduced to 5W 1H palm rule.
Pupils draw their palm on their exercise books.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils try to complete the palm rule in the drawing. They share their drawing with teacher.
2. Pupils play ‘Hot Seat’ with teacher.
3. Teacher demonstrates the game to pupils. Teacher gives out a few clues and pupils must ask
questions to guess the answer. Pupils’ questions can be guided too.
4. Teacher gives out the clues for real. Pupils start asking questions until they can guess the answer.
Post-lesson: One pupil is randomly called to take the Hot Seat. Pupils restart the game.

Objektif Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and construct at least 3 suitable questions
based on a picture.
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to understand visual clues given by their
classmates when describing pictures.
Aktiviti Pre-lesson: Pupils are introduced to the 5W 1H questions, Can you…? questions.
Lesson delivery:
1. A picture with sentences describing the picture in graphic organiser form is shown to pupils.
2. Pupils are asked what the questions might be for the sentences shown (M). Pupils are guided step by
step to make a question based on the sentences (L).
3. Pupils are explained about the group activity. Each group is given a picture. Pupils must write 3
questions based on the pictures.
4. After 3 minutes, one pupil from each group passes the picture to another group in a clockwise
movement.
5. Pupils start the again with a new picture.
Post-lesson: Groups share their answers with the class.

to blend and segment the sounds.

1. Pupils are given the ‘King Shawn Reading Fluency’.
2. Pupils read the story (M). Pupils read the story with their friends’ guidance (L).
3. Pupils are guided to complete the tasks on the right-side step by step.
4. Pupils practise task 4 on their own and in groups.
5. Pupils perform their silly reading in groups.
6. Pupils are guided to read and answer the comprehension.
7. Pupils complete the comprehension questions.
Post-lesson: Pupils’ answers are checked together.
