The article analyzes 58 boys aged 5 who were observed playing in pairs with either superhero toys or non-superhero toys. The researchers found that boys engaged in more physical activity when playing with the non-superhero toys compared to the superhero toys. Additionally, the type of television program a child watches may be weakly associated with their play behavior and physical activity levels.
