NON-CONCURRENT FORCE SYSTEMS
If we were to summarize the two types of force systems that
were discussed so far, namely the concurrent and parallel
force system. We can easily say that for concurrent force
systems, the forces have a common point of intersection but
with varying directions for their lines of action. Meanwhile for
a parallel force system, these forces no longer have a
common point of intersection, instead are now having the
same direction for their lines of action.
The last type of force system that will be discussed; the non-
concurrent force system, will not have a common point of
intersection for all the forces like the parallel force system,
but; similar to the concurrent force system will now have
varying directions for the lines of action of the forces.

RESULTANT OF A NON-CONCURRENT FORCE SYSTEMS
It is necessary to remember that the resultant of a force system is defined by a force which produce the same
effect as the original set of forces.
