Culminating
The 3rd year College of Bachelor of Secondary Education at Our Lady of Pillar College
San Manuel Incorporated concluded their community outreach program on May 25, 2023, at
Mananao Elementary School. It was the last day of our program, and we asked the grade 6
pupils to apply what they had learned from us by creating an invitation card for their graduation.
I positioned myself at the back of the classroom, ready to assist and answer any questions they
might have. Once they finished designing their invitations, they would come to me to have them
printed.

Being with the children brought immense joy to my heart throughout our time together.
We created happy memories, and even when they displayed moments of stubbornness, I
maintained patience in handling them. Their happiness was evident in their eyes, knowing that
they had gained knowledge and skills from our sessions.

Witnessing the growth and progress of the students was a fulfilling experience. Seeing
them apply what they had learned in a practical way, such as creating their graduation
invitations, was a testament to their understanding and development. The invitation cards they
designed showcased their creativity and the valuable lessons they had acquired during our
outreach program.

As the program came to an end, I felt a sense of pride and satisfaction. The impact we
had on these young minds was evident, and I knew that they would carry the lessons they
learned with them as they continued their educational journey. The bond we formed, the
knowledge we shared, and the memories we created will forever hold a special place in my
heart.
