Delays in materials

Processes: Hello, why has the material I ordered not arrived yet?

Purchasing: There is a problem with the supplier. They are falling behind in production because
they are missing a component for the material that was ordered.

Processes: And how do you plan to solve it? Do you already have a new delivery date?

Purchasing: I have been talking to the supplier about this, I am waiting for them to confirm the
new delivery date, meanwhile I have been quoting with other suppliers for some alternative
material that could be useful to us.

Processes: But do you already have a solution?

Purchasing: I contacted a couple of suppliers that handle this material, some have a minimum
quantity in the warehouse for immediate delivery, but the rest have a longer delivery time,
remember that our main supplier is the manufacturer.

Processes: So what is the solution, because this material is urgently needed for tomorrow at the
latest.

Purchasing: The supplier told me that he would check with his distributors to see if they have the
material available to send it to us, he told me that he would have a response this afternoon.

Processes: But I need this material for tomorrow, I urgently need you to give me a solution.

Shopping: I'm going to check what can be done, but I won't promise you anything.

Processes: Your job is to give me a solution

Purchases: Yes, I am giving you the solution, only I am seeing that if the material did not have that
delay, it is scheduled to arrive on March 1st, we are talking about almost 3 weeks, and you are only
asking for tomorrow.

Processes: I will be aware of your updates and please give priority to this material

Purchases: Of course, as soon as I have the new delivery times I will send them to you, and I am
still waiting for another quote for this material.

Retrasos en los materiales

Procesos: ¿Hola, porque el material que pedí aun no a llegado?

Compras: Hay un problema con el proveedor. Se están retrasando en la producción porque les falta
un componente para el material que se pidió.

Procesos: Y como piensas solucionarlo, ¿Ya tienes nueva fecha de entrega?

Compras: Estuve hablando con el proveedor respecto a esto, estoy esperando me confirmen la
nueva fecha de entrega, mientras tanto e estado cotizando con otros proveedores algún material
alternativo que nos pueda servir.

Procesos: ¿Pero ya tienes solución?

Compras: Me comuniqué con un par de proveedores que manejan este material algunos tienen
una cantidad mínima en el almacén para entrega inmediata, pero el resto tiene un tiempo de
entrega mayor, recuerda que nuestro proveedor principal es el fabricante.

Procesos: Entonces cual es la solución, porque este material urge para mañana a más tardar.

Compras: El proveedor me dijo que revisaría con sus distribuidores para ver si tienen el material
disponible para poder enviárnoslo, me dijo que me tenia respuesta hoy por la tarde.

Procesos: Pero yo necesito este material para el día de mañana, me urge que me des una solución.

Compras: voy a revisar que es lo que se puede hacer, pero no le prometo nada.

Procesos: Tu trabajo es darme una solución

Compras: Si, le estoy dando la solución, solo que estoy viendo que si el material no tuviera ese
retraso esta programado para llegar el día primero de marzo, estamos hablando de casi 3 semanas,
y usted meló esta pidiendo para el día de mañana.

Procesos: Estaré al pendiente de tus actualizaciones y por favor denle prioridad a este material

Compras: Claro, en cuanto tenga los nuevos tiempos de entrega se los are llegar, al igual sigo
pendiente de alguna otra cotización para este material.

Procesos: Gracias

Compras: Por nada.
