EARLY REGISTRATION 2024

To: ALL TEACHERS

1. Pursuant to Paragraph V of Enrollment Procedure of DepEd Order

(DO) No. 03. s. 2018 titled "Basic Education Enrollment Policy," the
conduct of the Early Registration for incoming Kindergarten, Grades
1, ALS and SNED learners in all public schools shall start from the
last Saturday of January to the last Friday of February of each year.
2. With the support of local officials, civic organization, people’s
organizations (POs), and the community, a massive advocacy
campaign to find children and youth not currently enrolled and bring
them back to school shall be undertaken from January 27 to February
23, 2024.
3. The following are objectives of the early registration:
 To ensure that all five – year old children by October 31, 2024
are enrolled in kindergarten and SPED;
 To accept all six – year old children who are kindergarten
completers in Grade 1.
 To understand the barriers to access to education and identify
local solutions and interventions to bring them to school and
ensure that they do not drop out.
4. Schools are urged to come up with various activities such as house-
to-house campaigns to help and locate children who should be in
school.
5. All teachers from Kindergarten to Grade Six of Rosario Ocampo shall
support school campaigns.
6. Expenses related to Early Registration should be charged to local
funds, as appropriate and as authorized, subject to existing
accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
7. Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this order is
directed.
