What are the shapes that are formed from the illustrations shown?
What are the different kinds of quadrilateral?
The shapes that are formed from the illustrations are square, rectangle, parallelogram,
rhombus and trapezoid. There are 5 different kinds of quadrilaterals.
Kinds of Quadrilaterals:
A trapezoid has only one pair of opposite sides that are parallel.
In the grade 4 class of Mrs. Ramos, some pupils prepared cut outs of different
quadrilaterals. Larry cut a square, Laura made a rectangle, Nelma prepared rhombus,
Alma cut a trapezoid and Rico made a parallelogram. Their outputs were neat and
they cleaned their mess after cutting.
What did the children prepare? What did they do after preparing the cut outs?
What are the different quadrilaterals they prepared?
The children prepared cutouts of different quadrilaterals. Then they cleaned their mess
after cutting. They prepared cutouts of a square, a rectangle, a rhombus, a trapezoid and a
parallelogram.
