Strategy: Picture Analysis
Children, this is a clock it has numbers on its face from 1 to 12. It has also two hands, a
short hand tells the hour and the long hand tells the minutes. The clock hands will tell us
what time it is. One round of a long hand is counted as 60 minutes, but we read it as O’
clock. 60 minutes is also count as one hour.

Example:
6:00 o’ clock 7:00 o’ clock
8:00 o’ clock 9:00 o’ clock

Let us learn how to read and write the time.
