Buhi North Central School is situated in Barangay San Pedro. It’s between
two secondary non-governmental schools, the St. Joseph’s Academy in the
north and the Buhi Lyceum in the south. It is also about 200 meters northwest of
Buhi Central School.
Buhi North Central School was once a part of Buhi Central School. It was
commonly called the Buhi Central School-Market Compound, where the
Grades I and II classes were housed. After the devastation of the school
buildings in the main compound of Buhi Central School because of Typhoon
Sening, makeshift classrooms were constructed in the market compound to
house the Grades III–IV classes on an emergency plan. Thus, the school started
with only primary classes.
COURTESY CALL
We went to the dean first to check the letter before going to the
respected instructors for signatories, but she was nowhere to be found, so we
just asked the class president of BEEd 4A because she had already checked it.
We attempted to message the FS1 instructor for the letter that we would have
him sign due to time constraints. He immediately read and proofread the letter
before we had him sign it.
Ms. Adelyn and Ms. Mary Grace went to Baao West Elementary School in
the morning to find Mr. Clark Christian S. Tirao, FS1 instructor, to sign the letter. Sir
Tirao advised signing with the FS2 instructor so that it could be submitted to the
cooperating school. They hurriedly went to Sir Daniel T. Cabaltera, FS2 instructor,
for signature.
Our first day of observation began at Buhi North Central School. It was a
cold, rainy day on the same day, but we were enthusiastic for our deployment
to the school. We got up early to make sure we had everything we needed,
and our call time is 6:40 a.m. We must come at the school as early as possible to
meet with the teachers. Because it was a rainy day, we were unable to adhere
to the call time that had been assigned to us. We initially reported to the
principal's office for the orientation period, during which every student teacher
will be educated about the school activities that require our full cooperation
and duties. Sir Danilo R. Obiasca told us that punctuality is the most important
practice in the field of teaching.
In the intermediate level, Ms. Mary Joy C. Iballar was assigned to Grade IV
with the teacher, Ma'am Cherill S. Britanico, and Ms. Rosalie Arcilla was assigned
to Grade IV under the supervision of Ma'am Mary Joy I. Lacoste; Ms. Jessa May
B. Machado was assigned to Grade V-Hope under the supervision of Ma'am
Emma C. Leal; and Ma'am Diana Rose L. Oafallas was assigned to Grade V-
Peace with her elementary teacher, Ma'am Jocelyn A. San Antonio. The
principal assigned the team leader, Ms. Leah B. Dautil, to Grade VI-St Mary, a
star section, under the supervision of Ma'am Auryl N. Salon.
