Narrative Report on 2024 Women’s Month Celebration

They say that every family needs a woman to be complete. A woman can be a loving
mother, a caring sister, an understanding wife, and a lovable daughter. Serena Williams once
said that the success of one woman should inspire others, and we should support each other.
Women’s Month in the Philippines is celebrated every March. The celebration served
as a venue to highlights women’s achievements and discusses continuing emerging women’s
empowerment and gender equality issues and concerns, challenges and commitments.
Makalindang Elementary School celebrated its Women’s Month Celebration last
March 26, 2024, with the theme,” “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas; Kakayahan ng
Kababaihan, patutunayan!””.
The program was started into what was planned to be. The activity such as opening
program and energizer were done through the joined effort of the teacher participants,
parents, and the speaker itself.
The main highlight of the celebration was an Orientation conducted to the parents
about “Communicating with Your Child”. The speaker of the orientation was the School
Head of the school, Maam Rose Mae C. Paway. She shared about the tips about
Communicating with your children and how this tips can be helpful to have good
communication between parents and children. She also gives importance about how parents
should treat their children, especially those who are in the crucial stage or the teenage years
After the topic was tackled, it was followed by parlor games and was one of the most
enjoyable part of the program. Everyone participated and everyone enjoyed it especially that
they received some gifts if ever they win the games.
