I. TRAINING PROFILE

Program Title:

Crafting School Contingency Plan in Coordination with MDRRM through a


Writeshop Training-Seminar

Program Description:

The proposed program aims to conduct a training seminar along with the MDDRM in
addressing disaster risk reduction and carrying out recovery activities, as
reflected on the crafted and developed School Contingency Plan.

Face-to-face training seminar

Target Participants:

10 persons, including the school faculty and staff and MDRRM representatives.

Target Date & Venue:

II. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the training-seminar, participants are expected to:

a. Learn the early warning systems and signs on the identified disasters or
hazards prone in the school area,
b. Craft a school contingency plan through a writeshop following the
suggested format and templates, and of the participants’ suggestions and
recommendations.
c. Be ready and prepared before, during and after the disaster.
