 The houses belongings to the lords were so large and had many rooms that they were
amazing to see.

 There was a hall large enough to hold more than 3000 people comfortably.
 The houses were also large that 30 men could have a mock battle on the roof as if they
were on a great square.

Streets
 The Spaniards were amazed when they saw Tenochtitlan.
 The streets were wide and beautiful.
 Two or three of the main houses were built on an island but the rest were half water and
half banks of soil.
 There were other streets which were all water, so people had to go by canoe.
 The canoes were dug out of tree trunks.
 Some were large enough to hold five people easily.
 In some places, without their canoes, they would not be able to get to their houses.

It consisted of two buildings.

steam.
Some would be more elaborate.
The steam bath was called the Temazcalli, which means "House to sweat".
