Providing speed breakers as per IRC standards in

MCW & SR.
Providing sign boards flickering lights in Service
2 road and Main carriageway nearer to Entry and
Exit points of MCW & SR

All SOS (Save our soul) which is erected on Outer

Ring Road (ORR) must be visibly painted with
3 solar electronic scroll board fixed on the top of
post, so that the driver can easily access their help
without hindrance.

For every 2 KM there must be one SOS post and

every 1km one signage board carrying the message
4 of “SOS” facility, with Toll free number should to
be erected. (Suggested 5x4 feet) in Tamil and
English.

Every 1KM CCTV Camera must be erected and on

all the entry & exit of the service road.

In some Places the parapet wall and side iron

railing are not properly laid and there is a

discontinuity, which have to be linked for
continuity.
All the sign boards may be placed in English &

Tamil language.

All the eater shops, iron scrap shops, etc, which are
situated adjacent to the ORR must be issued with
notices carrying the instruction to park their
8 vehicles on service road (or) parking space. If any
accidents or incidents occurs due to parking of
vehicle on main road (or) the shop owner has to be
taken liability.

Some more Truck yard can be identified by

TNRDC to facilitate the Truck parking safely.

11 In all Toll Plaza, one ambulance must be placed.

Additional reflectors (or) solar flickers should be

12 pasted on side iron railings and side wall on the
entire stretch of Outer Ring Road.
Extra transmitter (or) some power backup must be
13 available so that power cut during night time on
this stretch can be solved.
Yellow painted Rumbles strip has to be provided
14 before all the entry points into service Road from
400 Feet Outer Ring Road.

In all the entry and exit points of 400 Feet Road to

Service Road in Outer Ring Road, flickering lights

should be fixed, for identification during Night
hours.

By raising the centre median wall, iron railing or

16 parapet wall, will prevent the cattle crossing and
also will prevent accidents due to cattle crossing.
1set of Heavy crane & JCB Vehicle must be placed

near each Toll Plaza.

Ambulance with life support equipment must be

available round the clock in each Toll plaza.
