    Classroom News

    What We Will Learn:


    This week we will continue our work with this unit’s Essential Question - “Why is the
    past important? Our phonics skill for the week will be “bossy r” or /är/. This
    combination of vowels works as a team to make one sound.

    We will be continuing our work with Geometry, but also teaching time. This will be a
    challenging skill for students to master and it’s something we will have to revisit
    frequently for mastery. We will be continuing our work in Writer’s Workshop, where
    we will be writing reviews of various things, such as collections, restaurants, and
    movies.

    Homework:

    Tuesday: Home Reading and Module 5 Lesson 10 p. 165-166


    Wednesday: Home Reading and Module 5 Lesson 12 p. 173-74
    Thursday: Home Reading Module 5 Lesson 13 p. 177-179
    Friday: Home Reading

    Important Dates:

    Pizza Man Dan’s, Sweet Frog, and
    Panda Express
    March 25th- Speeches presented
    in class
