 Both and Neither
• Meaning: Cả hai
• Both: có nghĩa khẳng định: Cả hai người hoặc vật đều có
chung 1 đặc điểm nào đó

• Neither có nghĩa phủ định, nghĩa là cả hai người hoặc vật đều
không có 1 đặc điểm nào đó

• Both đi với một danh từ số nhiều

• Neither: đi với danh từ số ít

• Neither of: Danh từ số nhiều hoặc đại từ

• Meaning: tất cả (khi có từ ba người hoặc vật trở lên )
• All: Tất cả đều có chung 1 đặc điểm nào đó
All teachers are strict.
All cats like catching mice.
All flowers are beautiful.
• None: tất cả đều không có một đặc điểm nào đó
None chỉ đi với từ of “None of”
None of the cats like catching mice.

• All of: danh từ số nhiều hoặc đại từ

• None of: danh từ số nhiều + động từ số
nhiều/số ít.

 One, Ones
• One: được dùng thay cho một danh từ đếm
được số ít khi chúng ta không muốn nhắc lại
danh từ đó
This sandwich is for me and that one is for you.
This dress is cheap but that one is expensive.
• Ones: dùng thay cho một danh từ đếm được số
nhiều khi không muốn nhắc lại danh từ đó
I don’t like these red shoes. I like the blue ones.
Green apples often taste better than red ones.
