TINLEY PARK HIGH SCHOOL

March 4, 2016

To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Mia Stanek. Mia has been a member of
her high school dance team for 4 years and a captain for one of those years. It was truly an honor to coach
Mia. Her leadership abilities are nothing short of phenomenal. She is responsible, motivated, disciplined and
extremely talented. She leads her team with enthusiasm and has worked hard to instill in her teammates the
same kind of passion she has for the sport. She was a team player always working for the good of the entire
team. She graciously accepts constructive criticism, working hard to improve every day and is, perhaps, her
toughest critic.
The commitment involved with this team can be extremely challenging; essentially a two season IHSA sport
that spans over 9 months. Mia has demonstrated the dedication necessary to excel at academics and dance.
Due to her natural leadership abilities, Mia is an asset to the team in motivating others to participate and work
hard. She won All-Conference for the past two years.
Mia is not only a member of the Tinley Park Dance Team, she is also an officer in the Business Professionals of
America club, works with the small children in our schools preschool program and excels as a student through
her involvement in academics, activities and athletics.
Mia is the epitome of what a high school student should be. She is mature, respectful and overall a genuinely
kind person. I am so proud of Mia and all of her accomplishments. I hold her in the highest esteem and I
sincerely recommend Mia Stanek as the ideal student athlete. Mia is a pleasure to work with: her dedication,
professionalism, passion, enthusiasm and good nature will make her an excellent student and athlete at any
University and a well deserving candidate for any scholarship.
Sincerely,
Lori Vitt
