AGUSAN

Ang agusan ay matatagpuan sa Hilagang-Silangang bahagi ng Mindanao.

Ang salitang Agusan ay nagmula raw sa salitang “Agus” na ang ibig sabihin ay daloy ng tubig.

AGUSAN DEL NORTE

Ang Agusan del Norte ay kapatagan na napaliligiran ng bundok. Ang pinakamataas na bundok ay ang Mt.
Milung-milong.
Ito ay may 10 bayan at isang lungsod.
Butuan City ang pinakakabisera ng lalawigan.

Ang mga maipagmamalaking lugar at tanawin sa Agusan del Norte ay ang mga sumusunod:

AGUSAN DEL SUR

Ang Agusan del Sur ay binubuo ng labing-apat na munisipalidad na may 311 baranggay.
Ang mga bayang nasa tabi ng Agusan River ay tinatawag na “river towns”.

SURIGAO DEL NORTE

Ang Surigao del Norte ay binubou ng isang lungsod dalawampu’t-anim na munisipalidad at may 410
baranggay.
Ang lungsod ng Surigao ay nagsisilbing kabisera nito.
SURIGAO DEL SUR

Ang Surigao del Sur (Timog Surigao) ay isa sa mga lalawigan ng Pilipinas na matatagpuan sa rehiyon ng
Caraga sa Mindanao.
