LAHSO Guidance
LAHSO is PROHIBITED if:
– Tailwind component is 3 knots or greater.
– Runway is wet or contaminated.
– Ceiling and visibility are less than 1500' and 5 miles
(1000' and 3 miles with PAPI or VASI).
– Windshear has been reported within the last 20 minutes.
– MEL/CDL items require a weight penalty, or if any aircraft stopping
equipment such as spoilers, braking or anti-skid is inoperative.

– The LAHSO runway and Available Landing Distance (ALD) must be
briefed prior to all approaches.
– A LAHSO clearance shall not be accepted after the aircraft has
descended below 1000' AGL.
Rejected Landing Procedure
– If an RLP is not published on the back of the airport page, the go-
around is as directed by ATC.
– Once accepted the LAHSO clearance must be complied with or a
go-around initiated.
• RLP must be initiated by 1/3 of the ALD or 3000', whichever is
less.
• Below 1000' AGL and in VMC comply with ATC instructions.
• At or above 1000' AGL execute the published MAP, or as directed
by ATC.

When cleared for the Stadium Visual Approach, proceed direct to


Teterboro Airport and cross it at 3000'. Proceed on 222^ heading to
west end of Meadowlands Sports complex (GIMEE). Turn left at GIMEE
and continue along left (east) side of river to Lincoln Park. Plan to be
in final landing configuration by Lincoln Park. Turn right and descend
to cross Railway Bridge at 500'.
