We are currently looking for an Associate - Financial Markets

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

- Work closely with Head of FM and FM teams in preparing strategy papers and presentations for different products & bu

- Help FM business to identify new areas for growth by doing industry analysis and tracking major economic events.

- Prepare market update on weekly basis for circulation among internal stakeholders.

- Facilitate day-to-day running of the FM business for FM teams.

- Implement, drive and communicate key initiatives to meet the overall FM Bangladesh objectives.

- Be the central point of contact for certain FM projects.

Business Management

- Help to prepare and manage MIS for FM performance management.

Business and Process Improvement

- Identify, analyze, lead / participate in all initiatives intended to improve FM financial performance, operating efficiency,

- Work with stakeholders to continuously improve standards across all product areas

Strategy Development & Implementation

- Work with the Head of FM, Regional Executives, FM Units and Business Support functions to develop and refresh FM

Communication

- Ensure top management communication is delivered and understood by team members

- Assist in the coordination and success of FM events, campaigns, workshops & seminars.

Investment

- Understand the staffing / space / systems requirement and accordingly help Head of FM to approach internal stakehold

Candidate will have the potential to move into FM Business Units (i.e. FM Sales, Trading, Capital Markets) as well as in
Banking. The incumbent will also be able to pursue roles in risk and other strategic roles like business planning.

Requirements

- BBA/MBA from reputed university.

- Excellent command over MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point

- Excellent communication skill both in written and oral in English and Bengali

- Ability to write, review and summarize business / economic literature.

- Good negotiation skills and multi tasking ability

- Ability to prioritize, organize and deliver within short deadlines

- Must be a strong team player
