Expected Outcome

I. Introduction

These Guidelines are designed to assist you in preparing a proposal to conduct a

counselling program for the teachers about social media on academic performance of students.

All proposal are reviewed by the Practical Research II Adviser to determine if the subject
matter and content reflect current organizational goals.

These materials will provide you with the information required for submitting your

proposal and creating, designing and developing a training program .

Taking part in this course teachers will gain a outlook on best practices technologies.

Through on hands-on approach and learning-by-doing method on participants will develop

concrete competences on how to integrate social networks into teaching and training.

II. Rationale

The purpose of this study is to train teachers on how to use new and more effective

teaching aids which help them to reach out to students and make learning fun and more

interactive. And to foster excellence in education by empowering teachers and other education

staff to integrate social media into teaching.

III. Content

1. Defining social media

2. The principles of effective teaching using Social Media.

3. Discover, Review, and use internet for teaching and learning.

IV. Participants

All of the Teaching Staff of Ariston – Bantog National High School are included in this

training program.

V. Proposed Program
Objectives
Through the training, the participants and the proponent are expected to;

1. build and develop the ability of using social media in academic performances;

2. enhance the skills and integrating the use of social media to the particular users; and

3. generate ideas for social media strategies in educational works.

VI. Fund Allocation

The fund for this training will earn through solicitation from the people who has a high

position like Mayor , Vice Mayor etc.
