Topic:
Getting to know the school and its
surroundings by means of field
tripping inside the school campus.

Objectives:
At the end of the week, the students
will be able to:

things, people and places
surrounds them in the school
 familiarize and know the
correct place in the school that
they are supposed to be in.

Activity:
 Teacher will let the children
watch on television screen the
visual image of different things
and places found in school
campus.
 The students will listen, follow,
and say the vocabulary taught by
the teacher in 3-5 times
repetition.
 The teacher will give questions
about the topic.

TEACHING PROCEDURE

Step 1. (10 Minutes)

Greetings between teachers and students. Teacher will check the attendance. Then sing a
song as warm up start. Let students watch the television on screen about the topic “Our
School”.

Step 2. (25 Minutes)

To start the lesson, teacher will introduce the lesson topic to be learned. Introduce the
topic and the vocabulary in order for the students to follow, listen, point, read,
familiarize and memorize it by watching in the television on screen, and let them repeat
it in 3-5 times to let them understand clearly and remember the vocabulary used in the
topic. The teacher will point and say some examples related to the topic that to be follow,
listen and say by the students afterwards. Then after the students understood the
vocabulary, let them go outside the room to have a campus field trip to see the actual
ocular vision on different things and places found inside the campus or in the school
building.

Step 3. (15 Minutes)

Interactive Activities... To evaluate the knowledge skill of the students, the teacher will
do a question and answer about the places seen inside the school campus through oral
recitation. Let them do the worksheet activity.

Step 4. (5 Minutes)
By warning them for about 3 minutes more left, end the lesson by letting them finish
their activity.
