PPST STRAND: 3.1. Learner’s gender, needs, strengths, interest & experience

IMAGES:

ANNOTATION: The intervention strategies employed is effective. Some changes were applied along the
way to better meet the needs of the pupils. The learners now displayed improvements in reading as
reflected to their learning status.

ANNOTATION: In this WHLP, the Learning Tasks column provides the task that the pupils are going to answer in a given
week. In some cases, this gives confusion on the part of the parents as they thought that this WHLP is the Activity
Sheet that their children need to answer. On the other hand, the lesson plan given is designed for virtual demonstration.

ANNOTATION: Some of my pupils are very excited to use the online distance learning as it includes online platform like
google meet. It brings back the excitement of the learners to different subjects in the absence of face-to-face learning.
I also provide actual/virtual assistance with the learners for them to be able to better understand the different
instructions given by the modules.

ANNOTATION: These trainings help me a lot in dealing with the new set-up of teaching-learning process amidst the
pandemic using the distance learning. It deals with the different use of ICT in the current situation. On the other hand, I
am currently taking up my master’s degree to improve my career prospects.

Reflection:

This collection of works reflects my abilities and achievements in my performance this year through this LDM course.
Education continues despite of the pandemic as it is a continuous process.

Before the school year started, different online trainings, webinars, and workshops were offered and attended by so many
educators. As a result, it really helped us teachers to be well equipped and ready in the opening of the class.

The awaited date, October 5, 2020, the school year opened. Big adjustment was evident among educators, pupils, especially
parents because they also played a big role in educating their children. But still, the focus was quality education. I strived hard to
educate the learners and reached out the parents to monitor the learning of the pupils. Different social media platforms were used just to
ensure that quality learning will still be acquired by the learners amidst the COVID-19.

In this collection of artifacts, it shows how I did well in this school year. It reflects the effort, the time- given, the passion, and
the love of educating our future generations even in the absence of the face-to-face learning. And of course, this LDM course really
guided me on the efficacy delivered during the teaching- learning process.

We, as educators, have one of the most important tasks in this difficult time. But it is our honor and duty in ensuring the
consistency of delivering a quality education. And so with that, let us keep on inspiring and making a difference in the lives of our pupils.
