ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON
Back to School: Let a Million Flowers Bloom Project (SY 2021-2022)

I. INTRODUCTION (short summary)

Pursuant to the launching of the “Let a Million Flowers Bloom” project for this
school year, our school, Potrero National High School participated in this activity
as we firmly believe that this might uplift the spirit of learners, parents and
teachers amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

At first, we chose our school front yard to be the area where we will place the
flowering plants. Then, we asked our colleagues and other stakeholders to
donate flowering plants and luckily, we were able to collect a variety of plants
such as santan, portulaca, pandacaqui, bromeliad, Indian head ginger etc. Lastly,
we asked the assistance of our dear school head and other colleagues to help us
in planting.

This COVID-19 pandemic has drastically impacted our way of life and indeed,
planting and gardening really helps us have a positive outlook in life as it
promotes emotional wellbeing during the pandemic.
