I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, learners are expected to:
1. Identify the different parts of the human respiratory system.
2. Identify the components of the circulatory system.
3. Explain how the respiratory and circulatory systems work together to
transport nutrients, gases and other molecules to and from the
different parts of the body.
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates how the different structures of the circulatory and
respiratory systems work together to transport oxygen-rich blood and
nutrients to the different parts of the body.
B. Performance Standards Conduct an information dissemination activity on effective ways of taking
care of the respiratory and circulatory systems based on the data gathered
from the school or local health workers.

and Icarus and make sure to remain focused and avoid distractions.
 The learner will proceed on reading the text but must bear in mind
that there are certain parts in the story which he/she needs to stop
reading and answers some questions.
 If some words are hard to understand the learner may look for
definitions in the dictionary.
