Situation: Leader asking for the employee for trip into Sumatera (branch office) for doing a training

and consultation (like Deloitte)

P1: Hi, good morning P2! Can you please have a discussion with me this afternoon after a break?
P2: Oh sure! What's the topic of the discussion P1?
P1: It’s about our branch office in Sumatera, please attend into a meeting room ya
P2: Oke, I will come!

*After break*

P1: So thank you P2, for coming. I will discuss our branch office in Sumatera. Based on the analysis test that we were doing last month, Sumatera has
the lowest score compared to other branches. So I want you to set out on a round trip into Sumatera this week for 1 week.
P2: Oh, I see. So we evaluate them based on the score or there are different plans?
P1: I think we must re-train the employees on the Sumatera’s branch. And also, we can analyse another factor based on the environment of the
company.
P2: You mean that I must interview each person in the Sumatera branch?
P1: Ya, I think so but the important thing is Manager branch. For the service accommodation and allowance, HR will contact you after this. I
recommend them to give you the best budget airlines. And please, do not use your own money. You must recap and ask the reimbursement into
HR, okay. HR (Andika) has booked a hotel for you to stay for 1 week and a taxi from the airport. What do you think?
P2: Ok i have no doubt about it P1,and I am quite sure I won't be using my own money!

Lesson 3
*Situation in Sumatera’s branch*
Manager: Person 1
Employee from head office = Person 2
P1: Hi, P2. Thank you for coming to our company. So what's your agenda here for 1 week, P2?
P2: Hi, P1. It's very nice to see you again here. So I will set training skills and performance for the employees in this company.. The trainer will inform
ISO procedure, marketing and other knowledge for the employee. I also want to interview you, as a Manager. So we can know more about the
struggle/environment/culture here. So when will you be available? I set the training on this Tuesday until Thursday.
P1: I am delighted to hear about the training skills, because i think the training skills are important to us because I heard that we got the lowest
score. I must say i had hoped for a better score. I wish we had a good score, but unfortunately we did not. I am available right now.
P2: Oh okay then. What do you think that employees need to improve?
P1: They should have been more proactive and resourceful. We need an excellent team player so we can bring a positive outlook for our
customer and other employees.
P2: Which KPI use in this company?
P1: It based on performance review of each department
P2: I think I will recommend you another methods, performance as appraise psychologically. What do you think
P1: I think it is quite good, but we should have added some psychological test. Do you have the template for all employees?
P2: I have, I will give it later after this.
P1: So they did have all that you mentioned?
P1: I think we have not yet.
P2: oke, I see. I think we must give them a spirit and other benefits so they can give us the best work for the company. We must give them the
opportunity to grow and once take a lead for the project so they can feel more confident. Thank you for the feedback, P1!

*Situation going back to head office*

P1: Hi P2, so you are finally getting back. Is there any information from last week?
P2: Hi, P1. So to move forward from the score into the good score, I make a training session for the employees in the Sumatera branch. I also
interviewed the Manager branch on concised time.
P1: So tell me what has happened, can I have the update of training first? Have we made progress on the acknowledgment of the employees?
P2: So far so good based on my experience, almost all employees came into the training. But I can not succeed because 2 marketing teams came on
Thursday, they have to meet clients on that day. And about the score, the employees now get milestone knowledge than before.
P1: And how about the Manager branch?
P2: We had have some issues, the employees have no spirit to work because of the benefits and we must improve their skills to be more proud and
confident to work here. Can you bring this issues into other Managers in the department?
P1: I think we must. The program/benefit will be discussed by me and other managers later. I will inform you for the updates later ya, thank
