To share the knowledge about engine overheats.
Failure/Problem
Radiator tin clogging with dust.

Symptom

Engine overheats alarm show in IECU.

History
Not have.

Cause & analysis

It can cause the following

(1) Coolant level low.
(2) Thermostat damage.
(3) Water pumps damage.
(4) Water pump fan belt loosen or broken.
(5) Radiator tin clogging,
(6) Fan belt loosens or fan damage.

Action

We check the m/c. The m/c IECU show overheats alarm a few minutes. Firstly we check the fan belt
tension. It was ok. And then check the radiator. We found that the radiator tins are clogging with dust. So we
clean the radiator tin and test run the m/c. It was ok.
