A Detailed Lesson Plan in Science

for Learners with Intellectual Developmental Disability

Level Kindergarten

At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to demonstrate the following
skills 2 of 3 trials with minimal assistance:
a. recognize the different habitats of animal;
b. group the different animals based on their habitat; and
c. show interest in learning habitat of animals

5. Developmental Activity
a. Guided Activity

Now, we’re going to have an activity. I


will give three pictures for each person
and there also three charts in the board
which the land, water and air habitat that
where you’re going to put the picture of
an animal.

b. Individual Activity

On the second activity, you are going put


a popsicle stick that have a face of an
animal on it and put it on the pocket
chart and each pocket correspond to a
habitat which is the land, water and air
habitat.

6. Application
Now, we’re done with our
activities
I’m going to give a mask or
costumes that you’re going to wear
it and you will sound or act like
that animal you’re wearing after
that you will go to the diorama of
habitat which you live.
