Lesson Plan in Teaching Reading of -te Family Using Fuller Technique

I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to:

A. identify the final /n/ sound of -ne family;


B. produce final /n/ sound of -ne family;
C. answer wh-questions about the story read.
D. associate names of objects/pictures with the corresponding printed symbols;
E. read words, phrases, and sentences with final /n/ sound of -ne family; and
F. copy words/phrases/sentences with final /n/ sound of -ne family.

B. Motivation:

1. Show to the pupils a picture of a person using his whistle. Let the pupils
identify the picture and encourage them to read the text in the poster. (Start with
a Reading Text)

emphasizes the silent letter from the words with -ne family.
