A. Learning Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, the pupils must be able to:

1. Identify the various parts of the human body;


2. Give the functions of the various body parts of human; and
3. Acknowledge the significance on each component of the human body parts.

I. Motivational Activities:

Teacher let the pupils hear the song “The Human Body Parts Song.” After the pupils
hear the song, pupils must sing the song twice.

1. LESSON: Discuss and explain the different parts of the human body.

2. Group Activity- Art Charade (Grades 1-3)

Each group will draw one (1) human body part and explain why they choose the specific
human body part. The materials needed to the activity include bond paper, pencil and
crayons.

1. It is used for holding, catching and lifting things.

2. It helps us to see the world around us. It helps to recognize things by


seeing its shape, size and colors.

3. It helps to smell different things like the fragrance of flowers and the
aroma of perfumes.

4. It is used for hearing sounds like chirping of birds.

5. It is used for walking, running or jumping.

6. It is used for bending.

7. It supports the head and also it helps to turn left, right, up and down.

8. It is the part of the face between nose and ears.

9. The joint near our neck that attaches our arm to our body. It allows to
moving around.

10. It is five long thin digits attached to the end of our hands.
