One of the obstacles in obtaining a great education in times of epidemic is a lack
of enthusiasm in responding the modules. The proponent's main goal is to increase
students' motivation in participating in numerous activities in a more creative and
participatory way in Science.

Pupils will be provided a variety of exercises to help them build and improve
their interest in and concentrate on the sessions. Puzzles, experiments, interactive
games, poster making, slogan writing, vlogging, reporting/broadcasting, and other
hands-on activities that allow kids to show their creativity, new ways of thinking, and
problem solving are just a few examples. The teacher also uses Google Meet to facilitate
pupil-teacher connection and foster friendship among students. Pupils will respond to
various exercises via online classes as they learn while having fun.

Parents will be orientated on the various activities that will be offered each week
via an online platform. The teacher proponent will assess the activities on a weekly
basis to ensure that the students completed the task.

Giving of activities will start on the Second Quarter for Grade five classes from
third week of November 2021 until the first week of June 2021.

The proponent will pay for the supplies needed for each activity in this project.
The adviser will be given printed activities and worksheets to present to parents on a
weekly basis.

The production of the activity materials costing 3,500.00 will be financed by the
proponent.

“Project AGHAM (Active Acquisition Geared towards Honing of Knowledge and Skills through
Interactive Activities in Mobilizing Science Education)” is a set of learning task/work that
tend to boost pupils’ interest in answering various activities in line with the lessons in
the module. Wherein, activities that cannot be answered easily by the pupils will be
replaced with more interesting or interactive activities to enhance their understanding
with the help of the teacher either via online sessions or through set of activities. Varied
activities such as games, experiments, interactive lessons to be shown and manipulate
by the teacher and the pupils via google meet and studying their lessons using the
applications installed in their cellphones. Samples of apps that can be used by the pupils
interactively are Edu candy, Animal 4D, Space 4D, mozaik 3D, Lifeliqe, Kahoot and other
apps related to Science lessons. Through these activities and applications, pupils may
enhance their academic performance, develop their thinking skills, learn new things
through experiments and boost their confidents as they learn and enjoy the world of
Science.
Gerona North Central Elementary School really believed that learning Science
can be more fun and more exciting even this time of pandemic through varied and
differentiated activities and task, multimedia, interactive audio visual and online
resources which delivered the ambiance of a Science class at their homes. Thus, this
Project AGHAM was conceptualized and proposed for the continuation of better
learning.

IV. Project Objectives

A. Develop pupils’ interest in studying and answering Science task and
activities.
B. Improved pupils’ critical thinking skills through varied activities which can
be a great opportunity for them to explore and discover the world of Science.
C. Demonstrate strategies in teaching science.

The project is proposed and aimed to give Task/activity materials that will
be answered by the pupils weekly. The proponent will conduct an online
class Every Week via Google meet or Messenger Room where the
activity/worksheets will be used by the learners. The teacher will also
prepare power point presentation of the lesson for the pupils to easily
interact with the lesson being presented.
