TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION ACTIVITIES

1. Every year, the Department of Education is celebrating the National Teachers' Day
and World Teachers' Day in honor of the valuable contribution of teachers to society.
This year's theme is "Gurong Filipino para sa Batang Filipino".

2. To further promote the celebrations, schools are encouraged to print event

materials and have them displayed in offices/schools. The digital files of the streamer
designs can be downloaded froni wwvv.deped .gov.ph/others or thru

3. Below are the activities to be conducted by the Schools Division of Legazpi City m
relation to the National Teachers' Day and World Teachers' Day Celebrations.

4. In addition to the Technical Working Group (TWG) and Working Committees,

the following personnel are tasked to handle and manage the performances to be
showcased in the Regional and Division NTD /WTD Celebrations.

5. Assigned Technical Working Group (TWG) , members, and other personnel

may already start the preparations. Rehearsals of the creative performance team
shall commence on September 25, 2020, 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m . at PNHS Covered
Court. All are advised to strictly observe the minimum health standards.

6. Districts 1- 10 are advised to send video clips of school events to the Division
Production Team through this email: nida.bernaldez@deped .gov.ph not later than
September 28, 2020 . Video file must be 1080p resolution.
