Inihanda ni:
Technology based instructional materials are significant in the teaching learning process both
educators and learners especially since our mode of learning is online or blended.
Good day everyone, this is Mary Grace A.. Salazar, currently taking bachelor of secondary education
major in Social Studies and this is my technology based instructoional materials with the title of
heograpiyang pandaigdig
This instructional materials is made through the use of Microsoft powerpoint. To make it interactive
and interesting for students as they listen I incorporated the slides with animations, transitions,
pictures, audio and videos.

Ligned with the so called VARK model since there is already visual, auditory , reading, writing and
kinethetic.
I also added games that students can enjoy along with the discussion.
On the first slides we can see here a video, as an introductory for a teacher and a video in relation to
the topic that the teacher will be tackling about. On this slides, the teacher can introduce herself and a
time for a kamustahan too, with regards to the audio, if the teacher are going to talk, she or he can
turn off the sound directly to avoid any disturbance and for the students to hear him clearly.
Balik aral, This is to clarrify their understanding of the previous lesson and activity
For the implementation of this instructional materials, I based it on the 5E inquiry based instructional
Model.
E- engagement, I used the space race as a game, as a way to capture the students attention through
games and help them access the prior knowledge about the heograpiya.
This whole discussion for the Heograpiyang pandaig is for the grade 8 student 1st quarter.
E for the explanation and elaboration, this is to clarify their understanding of previous lesson and
activity.
Youtube videos are inserted to further give a clear explanation and application in the real world
situations
Evaluation
To reflection is provided with the spin the name, in which can be done during the online class for
individual scoring
Why did I choose interactive and game based powerpoint, instead of making a website audiobook,
ebook or other computer based instructional materials ?
Everyone in education course is aware of microsoft office, especially the micsrosoft powerppoint since
this is what we use during reporting, defense presentations and demo teachings
EX. you need camera, a video editor application that must be compatible with laptop. Knowledge of
how to edit a video and others that may be too complicated or strenuous for educators
Very easy to use, the guides or instruction are not difficult to follow.
There are also numerous tutorials in youtube in making a ppt presentation, interactive, and interesting
for students.
Lastly for the side of the teachers, ppt can be created opened, and edited with or without an internet
connection, it is available during online, or f2f classes as long as they have their laptop and the file
itself
