IV. Participation: Civil Engineering Faculty & All enrolled BSCE students

V. Background/Rationale

The Civil Engineering Student Organization and PICE-NWU Chapter has organized a
face-to-face orientation. As these newly elected officers exercise their ability to lead the studentry
into a better organization, there is a need for transparency among these governing bodies to
establish trust and unity among students taking up the course Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering.
The orientation is made to set goals on programs that are beneficial for the students,
promote wellness and establish a renowned connection with the higher organizations including
PICE-INLACC. As such, these goals and plans will be discussed during the said orientation all
while observing proper health protocols set by the government to protect ourselves from the
COVID-19 virus.

VI. Objectives:

a.) To establish rapport among students and strengthen unity despite individual differences.
b.) To set goals for a better organization with which programs draw benefit to students.
c.) To allow students in embracing the new normal education, omitting the worries and unsafe
implementation in the respected degree program.
VII. Approach/Process

1. Meeting/Consultation with Civil Engineering faculty members about the activity.


2. Preparation, itemization, and approval by the Adviser and faculty members.
3. Preparation and announcement of the said orientation program.
VIII. Expected Outcome:

Through this orientation, students will be aware of the existence of the said organizations
and the benefits of being part of these. They will understand the policies and rules of being in the
said degree program as this orientation will allow the students’ inquiries to be answered. This will
help the students to find the courage to enjoy their journey and to love their Alma Mater.
