At the end of this learning activity sheet, you are expected to:
1. Listen perceptively to selected vocal and instrumental music of
Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods; and
2. Describe musical elements of Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque Music.
II. Discussion
Music has evolved alongside with man’s constant quest for growth and
development. The emergence of different genres of music, it is also
important that we know how music evolved into the music we enjoy
nowadays. In this learning activity sheet, we will discover how today’s music
has improved through the first three periods of Western Music classified as
Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque.
