Pormal na tinanggap ng limang Samahan ng mga magsasaka sa Cavite ang proyektong

Solar Powered Irrigation System (SPIS) mula sa Department of Agriculture Region IV-
CALABARZON (DA-4A) noong ika-26 ng Enero.
Sila ay ang SVD Laudato Si' Agricultural Farm sa Tagaytay City; CBF Organic Farm ng
sa Imus City; at Baptist Bible Church of Christ, Silang Cacao Growers Farmers
Association, at Silang Coffee Growers Association ng Silang, Cavite.
Ang proyekto ay bahagi ng rehabilitation program para sa mga naapektuhan ng
pagsabog ng bulkang Taal. Layon nitong maibsan ang pangangailangan sa patubig ng
mga magsasaka upang mapataas ang kanilang produksyon at kita.
Ang aktibidad ay pinangunahan ng Regional Agricultural Engineering Division at High
Value Crops Development Program ng ahensya. ####
