I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of sixty-minute (60) period, the learners will be able to:

a. define two point perspective in trade drawing; and


b. perform the steps in creating two point perspective in trade drawing.

B. Review
The teacher will ask the learners about their previous topic which is all
about the one point perspective in a bird’s eye view position.

C. Motivation / Activity
The teacher will present an incomplete words and the learners will
unlock the missing letters by answering the riddle.

1. What letter is a drink?
T – is the letter that sounds like tea.

D. Discussion
The teacher will ask the learners about the definition of two point
perspective. Some learners will answer, then the teacher will show some
pictures of a two point perspective and its definition.
Then afterwards, the teacher will show a video presentation on how to
make or create a two point perspective.

Two point perspective – occurs when you can see two vanishing points
from your point of view. It uses two points placed on the horizon line. It is a
type of drawing that is a linear perspective. From the word linear perspective it
is a method using lines.

Albrecht Durer invented the two point perspective in early 1525 by


reading Piero and Pacioli’s works in his Unterweisung der messung or
“Instruction of the Measurement”.

Filippo Brunelleschi is the father of perspective. An Italian and a


founding father of renaissance architecture in 1446.

1. Draw a horizontal line
with two vanishing
point.
2. Draw a vertical line at the center of the horizon.
3. Connect the top and bottom ends of vertical line to the left side of
vanishing point.
4. Connect the top and bottom ends of vertical line to the right side of
vanishing point.
5. Darken the object line

Note: The application of knowledge will be given next meeting.


Wherein, the learners will be given an activity to draw a two point perspective
drawing in a bird’s eye view position.

F. Generalization

The teacher will recapitulate the topic by asking the learners with the
following questions:

1. What is two point perspective?

2. What are the things to be considered if you create a two point perspective
drawing?

IV. EVALUATION

The teacher will instruct the learners to get a one (1) whole sheet of
bond paper. The learners will draw one of their choices either man’s eye view,
worm’s eye view or bird’s eye view using the steps in creating two point
perspective. This quiz is equivalent for 15 points.
