C. Pictures, Cut out letters of Vv, Story book, Flashcards.
III. Procedure:
A. Preparatory Activities
1. Drill
Let the children sing the Letter Vv song.
2. Review
Show some pictures and let the children tell its initial sounds.

B. Developmental Activities
1. Motivation
Tell a short story. Vera is a volleyball school athlete. She and her team will be competing at the
school regionals. She won and celebrated her victory.

2. Presentation
Ask children who is the schools athlete. (Vera) What did Vera wear when the school
congratulated them. (answers will be written on the board.)
Tell the name of letter Vv and produce the sound. (The teacher produces the sound
repeatedly). Then the teacher shows other pictures having an initial sound of Vv and have each
pupil produce the sound)

3. A. Check the picture that has the beginning sound of Vv and let them produce the sound.

B. Let the pupils look around and find the letter Vv and let them produce the
sound.
C. Group Activity:
Divide the class into 3 groups.
Group 1: Color the letter
Group 2: Color the vase Vv
Group 3: Color the Volcano

4. Generalization
What is the name of the letter that we learned today? What is its sound?
5. Application
Find and color the letter Vv.
IV. Evaluation

Write the first sound then say the letter or picture.
