Accomplishment Report on "Empowering Teachers with Canva: A Hands-On Training

on Graphic Design for the Classroom"
Introduction:
The training on using the Canva application was held on February 10, 2023, for 41 Participants. The
purpose of the training was to familiarize the participants with the capabilities of Canva as a graphic design
tool and to provide hands-on experience in using the platform. The training started with a prayer, followed
by the roll call and energizer. After the opening program, resource speakers Maribel G. Esteron, Teacher III,
and Mariel G. Esteron, Student Teacher of the school started the discussion. The training ended with a
reflection and closing remarks from the school principal, Mrs. Crisalda C. Palad.

Training Content:
The training covered a range of topics related to using Canva, including an overview of the platform, its
user-friendly interface, and the wide range of templates, images, and elements available. Participants were
also taught how to use the drag-and-drop feature, add text and images to their designs, and make basic
edits such as adjusting the size and position of elements.

Benefits of Canva:
The trainer emphasized the benefits of using Canva as a graphic design tool, including its affordability
compared to traditional graphic design software and its ability to simplify the design process. Participants
were also shown how Canvas collaboration features make it easy for multiple users to work on a design
together in real time.

Hands-On Experience:
During the training, participants have a chance to practice using Canva by creating their designs. The
trainer provided guidance and answered questions as needed, allowing participants to gain hands-on
experience using the platform.
Conclusion:
The training on using Canva was a success, with participants gaining a solid understanding of the platform
and its capabilities. By providing hands-on experience, the training helped participants to feel confident in
using Canva for their design projects. The trainer received positive feedback from participants, and it is
expected that they will be able to effectively use Canva in their future design projects.
