write HRF on their paper if the activity shown in the video lesson is Health-Related
Fitness and SRF if is Skill-Related Fitness.
 After the activity, the teacher will enumerate the components of Health and skill-
related fitness.

 In the video lesson, the students will identify and analyze the given Physical

 Introduce the 5 health-related fitness components through video presentation and
demonstrate the proper execution of each test.
B. ANALYSIS
 What can you say about the components of HRF?
 Which of the test do you think is hard to execute?
 Were you able to record all the HRF and their test?
C. ABSTRACTION
 Discuss and clarify the importance of Health-related physical fitness activities.

APPLICATION
 Let the students assess the different tests and list down the different tests and
exercises which they can also introduce to their family members.

3 minute-Step Test
INSTRUCTION:
 The students will do the 3-minutes-step test at the covered-court
 Each of them will record their heart rate per minute before and after the activity on
the PFT Card
NOTE: Student/s with cardiovascular diseases or asthma is exempted in this activity
(with provided medical certificate). However, he/she/they will be given separate activity
that does not require intense or vigorous movements/executions.

B. ANALYSIS
 What did you feel after the 3 -minute step test?
 How would this fitness test help you as a student?
 What is the importance or benefits of getting your target heart rate and pulse rate
before and after any activities?

The students will do the Push up, Basic plank, zipper test, sit and reach test at the covered-
court.

Card.
NOTE: Student/s with underlying condition is exempted in this activity (with provided
medical certificate). However, he/she/they will be given separate activity that does not
require intense or vigorous movements/executions.
