HIỆN TẠI TIẾP DIỄN (Present Continuous)

1. Công thức
Câu khẳng định: S + am/is/are+ V-ing
Câu phủ định: S + am/is/are + not+ V-ing
Câu nghi vấn: Am/Is/Are + S +V-ing?
2. Examples
- I am leaning Math
- She is talking on the phone
- Cat is playing with some toys
3. Lưu ý khi thêm ing sau động từ
- Đối với những động từ tận cùng bằng đuôi e, ta bỏ e rồi mới thêm ing
Vd: use- using, improve- improving, change- changing
- Đối với những động từ tận cùng bằng ee, chúng ta giữ nguyên ee và thêm ing
Vd: knee- kneeing
- Đối với những động từ có một nguyên âm kẹp giữa 2 phụ âm ở cuối, ta gấp đôi phụ
âm đấy rồi thêm ing
Vd: stop- stopping, run- running, begin- beginning
4. Diễn tả 1 hành động đang xảy ra tại thời điểm nói
5. Dấu hiệu nhận biết:

now (bây giờ)

right now (ngay bây giờ)

at the moment (ngay lúc này)

Trạng từ chỉ thời gian
at present (hiện tại)

It’s + giờ cụ thể + now

Ví dụ: It’s 12 o’clock now. (Bây giờ là 12 giờ.)

Look!/ Watch! (Nhìn kìa)

Listen! (Nghe này!)

Keep silent! (Hãy giữ im lặng!)

Một số động từ
Watch out! = Look out! (Coi chừng!)

Ví dụ: Watch out! The train is coming! (Coi chừng! Đoàn tàu
đang đến gần kìa!)

Listen! Someone is crying! (Nghe này! Ai đó đang khóc.)

 Exercise 1. Tìm và sửa lỗi sai trong các câu sau đây.
