C.Appreciate the importance of gardening on their backyard.

types of tools using sewing machine.

1. MOTIVATION

But before that let us have an activity, and this is


entitled “Be my GUESS”

I will show a picture and try to guess if it is a man-


made or a natural made.

2. DISCUSSION PROPER

That both picture that you guess class is a man-


made and natural made which is connected to
grow or make a garden.

Class when you hear the garden or gardening,


what comes into your mind?

Very Good! Many beautiful plants and flower, ma’am.


How about the other?

Garden or gardening is an art which makes


people enjoy and feel relax.
That’s right! Today we will be discussing the 5
basic tools in gardening.

Kindly read what is in the picture?

Hand fork, ma’am.


Very Good!
The used of hand fork is to break the soil
around the plants.

Second picture.
Crowbar, ma’am.

Very good!
Used as lever when digging a plant.

Let’s proceed to our next picture.

Rake, ma’am.

Very Good!
Rake is for collecting the leaves and leveling
loose soil.

Okay, next picture.


Shovel and Spade ma’am.

Very Good!
Shovel is used for moving soil and seeds while
spade is used for digging or removing soil.

And for our last picture.


Wheelbarrow, ma’am.
Very Good!
It’s used for carrying loads such as soil and
tools.
