3. Abstraction

The topic we’re going to discuss this


morning is all about Affixes. In English,
words are formed in many ways. One of
them is using affixes.

Affixes are letters or group of letters


added at the beginning or at the end of
the word.

A word with an affix can have the


following word parts.

Prefix – affix at the beginning of a root


word

Suffix – affix at the end of a root word.

affixes? And what is the difference
