WONDERS OF THE WORLD

I. Hình thức:
Dạng câu này thường có hai mệnh đề. Mệnh đề chính thường có chủ ngữ là: People, They, Every, We …..
và động từ thường là: say, think, believe, know, understand, report, suppose, rumour ……….. Mệnh đề
danh từ đứng sau thường được mở đầu bằng liên từ “that”
II. Cách đổi:
Cách 1:
- Bước 1: Lấy chủ từ mệnh đề phụ đem ra đầu câu
- Bước 2: Thêm (be) vào : (be) chia giống thì của động từ ở mệnh đề chính....
-Bước 3: Chuyển động từ ở mệnh đề chính sang P.P để sau (be)
- Bước 4:Lấy động từ mệnh đề phụ đổi thành to INF. rồi viết lại hết phần sau động từ này.
*LƯU Ý :
- Nếu động từ trong mệnh đề phụ trước thì so với động từ ở mệnh đề đầu thì bước 4 không dùng to INF mà
dùng : TO HAVE + P.P
- Mệnh đề chính ở hiện tại, mệnh đề phụ ở hiện tại : To INF
EX: People say that he is 108 years old  He is said to be 108 years old
- Mệnh đề chính ở hiện tại, mệnh đề phụ ở hiện tại tiếp diễn: to be + V_ing
EX: People believe that the man is living in New York
 The man is believe to be living in New York
- Mệnh đề chính ở hiện tại, mệnh đề phụ ở tương lai: To INF
EX: People expect that taxes will be reduced soon  Taxes is expected to be reduce soon
- Mệnh đề chính ở quá khứ, mệnh đề phụ ở quá khứ: To INF
EX: People believed that the Earth was flat  The Earth was believed to be flat
- Mệnh đề chính ở hiện tại, mệnh đề phụ ở hiện tại hoàn thành: to have + PP
- Mệnh đề chính ở hiện tại hoàn thành, mệnh đề phụ ở quá khứ đơn: to have + PP
*** Nếu mệnh đề phụ ở thể phủ định thì ta biến đổi thành not to + To INF hoặc not to have + PP
Cách 2:
- Bước 1: Dùng IT đầu câu
- Bước 2: Thêm (be) vào : (be) chia giống động từ của động từ ở mệnh đề chính....
-Bước 3: Lấy động từ mệnh đề chính chuyển sang P.P để sau (be)
- Bước 4: Viết lại từ chữ that đến hết câu.
Ví dụ:
People said that he was nice to his friends
=> It was said that he was nice to his friends
